Teh easy-start feature slowly increases the power of the brush as you get used to the Sonicare experience. BrushSync technology tracks how long you have been using your brush head and how hard you have been brushing. The BrushSync on your Sonicare toothbrush will beep to notify you when your brush head needs replacing. There is also a battery charge indicator light that lets you know when your battery requires charging. Typically, a Sonicare toothbrush lasts around two weeks before requiring a charge.
